BA1014 transmitter and 70mw amplifier - Weanus P., Ithica NY
Weanus P. says " This is another project using a cheap generic BA1014 transmitter called the Soundbridge. I removed the transmitter from it plastic case and installed it in a small metal case. To help set the frequency, I added a fine tuning control using a variable resistor and a varicap diode. I can easily set the frequency within 5 khz now. In a second metal box I built a small 75mw amplifier, also using 2 2N3904 transistors and powered from a 9 volt battery. The metal cases reduced the amount of noise present in the signal. I use a short run of RG-58 to feed the home made wire ground plane antenna, thats in the attic (sorry no pictures)." |
